Tapas #3 - Garlic Confit, if your neighbor is a Vampire they’ll hate you

Ingredients (for around 2 people):

  • 2 heads of garlic (you could make less, but really why would you?)
  • Olive oil

Instructions:

  • Peel garlic (smack it with the flat side of your knife to make life easier)
  • Put in an oven dish (ideally one of these tiny ones with a lid)
  • Cover with olive oil
  • Slowly cook at 130C for around 1.5 hour (check in every half an hour or so, it’s done when the garlic is soft and everything is slightly browned, be careful not to burn it)

Spice it up (hehehe) with:

  • Chili
  • Pepper
  • Thyme
  • Rosemary

You can eat this as is, spread it on bread, turn it into dressing and sauces and probably a bunch of other stuff I can’t be bothered to type out!
